Take Action List

2 people inspired me to do the impossible,… or at least work towards accomplishing goals on my own version of an impossible list!  First is my wonderful (and beautiful) wife!  She has a saying that I love; “Make it public, make it happen.”  This is so true.  If you tell someone that you are going to do something, you are automatically held accountable for your actions whether you succeed or fail.  The second inspiration is Thomas Frank.  I found Thomas through a speaking group I am in.  He is a machine of awesomeness that publishes great content for college students on  On his website, he created a page dedicated to his list of goals called the Impossible List.

I am a smart man.  And as a smart man, I realize the best ideas aren’t always original.  That is why I am going to copy the format of Thomas’ Impossible List and do my own version called the Take Action List.  I have created a new page (HERE) with all of my current goals.  This Take Action List will continue to expand and evolve as time goes on.  This will include personal, business, and funny goals/challenges I make for myself.  Feel free to check back often for updates to the list.

Make it Public Make it Happen

To give you a taste, here are a few that I have included on the list:

  • Try Paddle Boarding
  • Downsize our house
  • Speak in front of 5,000+ people at once
  • Get to 1,000+ Twitter followers (Follow me here)
  • Do a podcast interview
  • TV appearance
  • Create a E-Course
  • and many many more….

This should be a fun way of tracking all of the small and big WINS in my life!

Take Action Today:

Pick one of your goals that you can accomplish in the short term and tell someone.  Post it on Facebook, send your friends a video text, or shout it from your front porch!  Make sure that someone you know is aware of your intent to succeed at this goal.

Nice. Those are definitely some worthy goals. My BF and I just downsized and while it was stressful, it was the best feeling getting rid of so much unused stuff! Best of luck to you. I’ll check back later to see how many of them you got done 😛

Thank you Corinn! I have a feeling I will be adding to the list frequently and hopefully marking things off at a good pace. The downsizing is definitely a bit scary to think about, but it sounds very freeing at the same time.
